How to get the calcium powder to stay on my aquatic turtles' food?

It seems like every time I wet the food and add some powder, it goes straight into the water instead of staying there long enough for them to eat it. Any ideas?

You can get floating calcium sticks to give them these don' taint the water as badly as the powders.

I use a bird cuttle bone from the bird dept of any pet store. This is all calcium

I alwways have at least 2 in my pond. If they eat it great, if they don't it will disolve in time and they still get the calcium through the water and its ok foir the fish.
