How to get the cheapest ticket to LA from Vancouver for a vacation?

I have a place to stay at my friend's house in LA. I just need to know what is the best way to get the cheapest ticket to LA from Vancouver and how much is it going to cost?

Check out Flight Centre.  www.flightcentre.ca

They consistantly have some of the lowest fares out there and they should be able to match a lower fare if you do happen to find one.  They have locations all over the Lower Mainland and you can actually deal with a real person!

Flight Centre is showing about $360 return, total after taxes etc.

Expedia.ca is showing $430 for the same flight.

Look up Expedia.com and I am sure they will find you an appropriate flight and quote you a good price.
