  1. Don't add white for sure

  2. add some white if you have it. try using more yellow and less blue

  3. well use more dark yellow and smidge of blue and a smidge of one-two whites.  Hopefully that will make your green.  Or just experiment with little dabs of different ways you could make a green.

  4. What is your medium? There are different pigments which are used to make yellows and blues. From a pure color wheel stand point yellow and blue mixed make a green. The blue you have may be on the red side, or the yellow may be on the red side. If that is the case you would get a dirty brownish green.

What you are looking for is a primary triad. Try a different blue or yellow. In oil and acrylics a Cadmium yellow medium or Hansa yellow medium are the best pure middle yellows. Primary Cyan or Cerulean are good blues. Different maunufacturers may have slightly different names or pigments. Start with those to get the green you want.

  5. put less blue and more yellow.

  6. Try a different yellow if you can get it. whatever color that is in your yellow makes the color less pure....   white will lighten but desaturate. You'll just have a lighter version of brown green.... if you want a true green... loose the dirty/dark yellow....

  7. It can't be done with those.

The whole color theory is kinda bogus when it comes to actual paints. The theory is sound but unpractical as no color is 'just' that color.

You need lemon or bright yellow to make a nice green. Strangely enough the blue will do.
