  1. Eat something!! Mainly something like bread or chips. Something that can easliy absorb liquid when it reaches the stomach. Then the rest is moderation. If you enjoy beer have a few quick drinks then back off a bit maybe 1 an hour. If you like liquor take a shot or two then move on the a mixed drink thats smooth enough to juts sit back and sip on. Trust me as the night goes by you'll enjoy it more just being there and drinking easily then being slap drunk and not knowing whats going on.

  2. A great question. Being proactive is the best approach to not getting sick. You can still drink and have fun as long as you drink right. So stay away from sugary drinks, possibly take a pain killer before you go to bed (at your discretion). Drink water, make sure you eat all your meals throughout the day. Check out this liquor live article, it may be helpful to you:

  3. Best thing to do when you start drinking and you start to get a good buzz- start alternating your alcohol drink with water. You'll keep the buzz and not tip over the drunk stupor that makes you sick- Plus it helps with the hangover the next day because your hydrating your body-

Also helps to make sure that you have something greasy in your stomach before you pass out for the night- helps soak up the alcohol.

  4. Eat a light meal or snack before, make sure to have something to eat during, and eat lots of carbs before bed, a peanut butter sandwich or a bowl of pasta work for me.

  5. I get my most by not drinking alcohol at all.

  6. Remember a wise Proverb...."For a drunkard and a glutton will come to poverty, and drowsiness will clothe one with mere rags."

If  your experience with drinking is nausea, vomiting...why continue to do it? So what do you have to look forward too? Passing out, not knowing where you are, how you got there, what you did and with who. Even worse waking to find that you've taken a life or lives in an accident.

If you don't know your limit than perhaps you should refrain altogether.
