How to get the new yahoo front page whith a old a cont.?

I have a old yahoo account i saw my friends and hers is brand new her page was different how do I get her newer page.

I assume you're referring to the new my.yahoo.com layout.  To get to the newer layout you should be above to find the link to that at the top of your page next to the My Yahoo logo.  Just under where it says "Welcome, <your name>" there's a line that says Sign Out, My Account, and Switch to the new My Yahoo!.  Click that last one.

Good luck getting back to the classic layout if you get annoyed by the more distracting advertising positions.
