I moved into this house 8 months ago and have tried everything to get the old non slip stickers off of bottom of tub. lately I have resorted to just covering it up with a bath mat but you can still see some of them. They are old and some have peeled off but the glue is still there....Any help or advice is greatly appreciated

  1. Let them dry completely then use goo gone.  I've tried the hairdryer method someone mentioned before, but it never worked completely for me.

  2. I would try liquid cooking oil-rub some on the decals and let it set--use a plastic spatula or a plastic paint scrapper to remove the stickers, if you still have sticky on the bottom of the tub try nail polish with acetone to remove-Good luck

  3. Use a hair dryer to soften the stick-on.  They will simply peel off.

  4. Use acetone or nail polish remover that has an acetone base.

  5. Best case:  Make sure it is dry completely, then squirt goo gone on it (for glue removal) let it set on and do it's magic, then wash off.

Worst case, scrub at them with pencil eraser, eventually it will work.

  6. Heat them with a hair dryer.  Once the glue has softened up, peel them off.  With the glue that is left, rub some Goo-Gone on it, rub it around with your finger, and then wipe it up with a paper towel.  Repeat the process until all the glue is removed.  Good luck!
