How to get the spot in the Short film or Commercial??

Question

I was reading the Jobs Section in the paper today and I saw that these people are hiring Actors for a Short Film or Commercial and I called and the guy told me he would call next week to tell me when the Auditions are. So I was wondering what can I do to impress the people who I am auditioning for? Any advice on anything else?

just be a nice guy. take your resume and headshot with you.  Don't have them? Then you are not ready to audition for anything except school plays which is a great idea.

If you are under the age of 18 and on the West-Coast then I recommend Be.  This is a great place to create a resume for Casting Directors.

I personally know that they just signed with G4 Television where their shows appear in 60 Million Homes Nationwide every Sat. and Sun. morning and and are also starting their first full length feature film next month.

Their Band "The Buzz" is down in L.A. right now and working with a Producer that Produced 50 Cent, Christina Aguilara, and they are scheduled to go on tour with Danity Kane.

If you have talent, they will get you in front of the right people, but with anything else you must refine your skill before you are ready to go big.

If you are over 18, then I recommend possibly http://www.sfcasting.com or http://www.lacasting.com this is of course on the West Coast, other places I am not so familiar with.

Just be yourself a honest, respectable, gentlemen who knows how to have fun & is really sweet (worked for me ;)
