I have two pairs of jeans that have this weird burning smell in them. I think it might be because of the dye.

No matter how many times i wash them the smell is still there...How do i get the smell out??

It seriously smells like i have been hanging around burning rubber/a camp fire.

  1. Same thing happens to me. I think it's like that with premium jeans like Seven jeans, true religion....etc. I take my new jeans to the cleaners. That always work.

  2. Put a 1/2 cup of vinegar in the wash machine with your regular detergent.  Try air drying till almost dry then throw in the dryer to finish.

  3. wash with vinegar & baking soda.. it will take the smell out.. but wash a few times..

  4. Wear them around the house as much as you can, keep washing them, strech them. Take them to the cleaners.

I find when my jeans are more worn they smell better, haha. Hope it works for you.

  5. Try putting some vinegar in the wash water with them, its great at getting rid of smells. and don't worry you wont be able to smell the vinegar when its done.  If that doesn't work, put them in a plastic bag with some used dryer sheets, close the bag and leave them for a week or so.
