How to get the wii fit remote to work?

well my mates is having a problem

she said that she is trying to synchronize the wii remote but the arrow will not show up on the screen

everything is plugged in properly.

it's definitely a problem with the sensor bar, make sure the sensor bar is in a good position, as close as possible to you without falling off, also in the wii settings say the sensor bar is opposite to where it is (for example, if you put it ontop of your tv, say its below) this makes it in the center
