  1. for the regular meet..just go to the track....

for the 2008 Belmont stakes just contact the track around

3 months before the Belmont. if they have a horse going for

the triple crown...it might be hard, but i doubt if it will be

a triple crown winner for a while.

  2. The poster above gave the website (NYRA). Usually after Jan, 1 they will post ticket info. on the site. Normally they are awarded in a lottery type system where you mail in an application. Belmont is huge so you usually can get good seats if you enter the lottery early enough.

I have also had good luck buying seats off of EBay after the Preakness, but that is of course only the case when a horse isn't going for the Triple Crown in the Belmont. Ticket scalpers often buy Belmont tickets speculatively before the

Derby, hoping that some horse will win both the Derby and Preakness, and in that case they can sell their Belmont tickets for much more than they paid for them, with people wanting to see a Triple Crown. In years when the Derby winner loses the Preakness, a lot of times Belmont tickets get dumped on the market and you can actually buy good seats at less than cost.

Suffice to say though you are better off watching the web site and entering the lottery system.
