How to get to Alton Towers from Wrexham?

Question

Me and some friends want to visit Alton Towers theme park some time this week, but are in a bit of a pickle as to how to get there, what we know already is that Alton is located in Stafford, and we will be taking a train there, but if anybody knows how to get to Alton and the Theme Park after that, I would be gratefull for the help.

I believe there is a bus link from Uttoxeter station. I remember looking into getting a train when we went there but we didn't cause there were too many changes from where we wanted to travel from.

I think there was stuff about buses on the Alton towers website. The bus timetables are here:
