  1. I usually drive.

It is a twenty minute trip from downtown Houston to Baytown except in traffic.

Try Metro (the bus service). http://www.ridemetro.org

    They have a trip planner.

I don't know where in Houston you are starting from, or where in Baytown you're going, but I had no problem calculating a route from downtown Houston to the Baytown Park and Ride. A little more information might help.

By the way, do your parents know of this trip?

  2. Go East on IH-10 & you're there! mapquest might help too.

No I seriously doubt they have a pubic transportation system. Bay town is too close to Houston. Have a friend take you.

  3. Use Greyhound Bus Lines.  The roundtrip will cost $198.00 through the end of August 2008.  The bus leaves from downtown Houston and arrives at the bus terminal in Baytown.

    Good luck!

  4. hitchhike

  5. You have essentially three options:

    1)  Taxi (figure $50 or so each way)

    2)  Greyhound ($27 or so round trip)

    or

    3)  Houston Metro (note: metro ONLY serves one stop in all of Baytown and it's at the Baytown Park and Ride lot at Garth Rd and I-10 AND only on weekdays during rush hour so you'd probably have to take a cab from there or walk a very long way)
