  1. Quickest and Easiest is to get a train into London Waterloo. Then catch the Bakerloo line to Oxford Circus and the Victoria line from there (It doesn't look direct on the map, but is Cross Platform interchange - just walk across the platform and get the next train)

Changing Vauxhall is easier if you are getting a metro (all stations - trains are painted red) SWT service from Woking. But an express (either non-stop or 1 Stop at Clapham) will get to into Waterloo in about 30 mins - the metro would take 1hr

  2. Don't change at Vauxhall. To arrive at St. Pancras at 10.45, catch the 9.28 from Woking, arriving Waterloo at 9.55, then underground to St Pancras (Northern Line to Euston, change then Northern City line to King's Cross/St Pancras or Bakerloo/Victoria Line as in first answer). You could travel slightly  later (9.41 Woking, St. P 11.00 or Woking 9.46, St P 11.04. or Woking 9.51, St. P 11.10 all as before) but for an important date like yours I'd allow plenty of time, especially if you are not used to using the Underground. I hope you have a lovely birthday -enjoy!
