How to get to Sydney Opera House from Drummoyne Street?

Is it possible to do so on foot? If not, can you list the prices and time needed to take a cab or the bus or the train? Which mode of transport will you recommend? Thanks so much!

Catch a Bus or Train to CIRCULAR QUAY, I think Drummoyne is a suburb, but you can google maps and check yourself, you can't walk from Drummoyne if its the suburb I'm thinking.  Cabs, forget it, I would get a train for speed if you can, or a bus so you can look around.  Once you get here everyone will help you with stuff like that.  The Buses/Trains etc aren't very expensive, you could even buy a weekly pass or a daily pass like the locals do if you want to travel around a bit without spending heaps of money.

there is NO Drummoyne st according to the UBD street maps. if you mean Drummoyne ave, then walk up Wrights rd to Victoria rd and take 506 to Circular Quay, bus terminates in Loftus st. takes about half and hour depending on traffice not sure of prices.
