  1. Tuscany is the region around Florence. It is not a city or a village. You need to pick a village or a city in Tuscany and then you can go to that village. Most people go to San Gimignano and to Siena.

Best way to get to Tuscany from Venice or Rome is to take the train to Florence or Siena. Then look into renting a car or taking the bus to get where you want.

  2. I think the better way to reach Tuscany is travelling by train.

From Rome station (Termini station) you can take the "Trenitalia" train to reach the station "Firenze Santa Maria Novella"in Tuscany.

Florence is the most important city in Tuscany.

It is rich in art, culture, fascinating landscapes and typical Tuscan food and wine.

If you want to visit other cities in Tuscany, you can move by Bus or renting a car.
