How to get to big barrel races

Question

how do me and my horse make it to the big barrel races i dont know how because we have only been doing all these jackpots and playdays and we are ready for bigger more advanced races.

lots and lots and lots of practice..and if you have a friend that goes to the bigger rodeos go with them a few times and just see how they work..then decide if your ready for those types of rodeos...good luck! :)

IF you have a trainer that is really good at racing and knows about all the big rodeos then I would ask her how to get to go to the bug ones goodluck

Depends on how big. Like the BIG barrel racing things where professionals and the really nice horses run or just bigger stuff than play days?

For bigger local shows:

check out tack store fliers

ask the people at the shows you go to now if they know of any (many people use small shows/races to practice for the big ones)

call the barns in your area - this one is hit or miss but you never know

you would have to enter them and it depends on what shows you would like to  go to some them  you have to have certian requinments. try going to National Barrel racingassociation.com and get magizines such as barrelhorsenews and all different try going to your horse breed assocition they have some big shows good luck
