How to get to croydon by train?

how to get from hornchurch staition essex th east croydon by london transport

I'm sure the croydon train goes from victoria and through clapham junction if thats any help?

Get to central London then transfer to London Bridge or Victoria station.

District Line Hornchurch to Victoria, then Main line Victoria to East Croydon.

No need for Tfl/buy a map or why go? or even worse, don't know type answers is there.....

Catch a train fron Hornchurch to Fenchurch Street then walk to Monument tube station and catch the Circle/ Dirstrict line to Victoria station where you will then be able to catch a train to Croydon. I beleive that the platform numbers are from 12 upwards.
