How to get to jamaica from western australia?

hi i'm looking at travelling to jamaica some time next year and i'm finding hard to find any information over the net on how to get there.. can anyone help? I need to know how long it will take, have talked to travel agent but just wondering if anyone has any better ideas..

American Airlines will take you from Perth to Kingston in Jamaica via Kuala Lumpur and London. It will take you 33 hours.  There are other options via New York, but they take longer (up to 55 hours).

You can get a flight to USA and then another flight to Jamaica from most states there. American Airlines or US Airways... I think you should call a travel agent. They usually know these things and get get u a flight sorted out within minutes.
