How to get to sleep fast without pills?

I have been having trouble getting to sleep, please help!?!

  1. There is a lot of information on the internet about how to improve your sleep.  The following info I found has helped me quite a bit.  I find that having a dark room helps a lot as well as just going to sleep when I feel tired rather than pushing past that urge to sleep.

    -Try not to use your bed for anything other than sleep and s*x

    -Don't eat 1-2 hours before going to bed - tho carbo loading may make you tired

    -Refrain from watching TV or doing other engaging activities before bed

    -Keep a dark, cool room for sleep

    -Possibly try to reset your Circadian Cycle


  2. You could try a supplement called Melatonin, it is known to work wonders for helping people sleep. I know three people who take it and they have all had great success with it. The best thing is, it isn't expensive and it's a supplement, so you can buy it over the counter.

  3. Try having a glass of warm milk .

  4. There are certain herbs that will do it. Go to your local pharmacy and ask them for some advice.
