How to get to specific HD channels?

Question

I have and HDTV and my local cable has HD channels and I cant seem to get to these channels. These channels are like 2.1 or 24.1 and I cant seem to get to them with my remote. My roomates can get to thse but I cant. Does anyone know how I can get to these channels?

You might can  get them in HD via rabbit ears, i.e. an indoor antenna......go to antennaweb.org and see if they are within distance....then go to walmart and get a $15 antenna...

First do a fresh Channel scan. Specify "Cable" when asked ANT or Cable.

Your remote should have a "." or "_". Use it to access the dig. channels the channel scan found.
