How to get traffic to my website?

Hi Friends,

I am very new to yahoo answers. I like to know the best way to get traffic to my website. I have started a website which allows users can upload wallpapers and screensavers to earn points. At the same time it provides user to win gifts in single click. But I am not able to get good traffic to my website..

It will take some time to win traffic after you build your website. What the best you can do is, get back links to your website so that you can get a hi google page rank. If you need any help, I can do that for you. Once this is done, you will get good ranking in google and people can search for keywords to reach your website.
