Would an hour on the treadmill a day running at alternative intervals be enough to achieve this result?:

I want to lose 26 pounds. is this acievable in an hour of alternate intervals of running daily? how long would it take?

  1. The answer is NO. Running one hour on a tread mill, isn't enough to burn even the calories of one beer. To achieve the results you want, you need to run, to eat the right way and make abs and some other exercises to your body modeling, for life, not only for a short period of time, or all those extra pounds will return, sometimes even more. Those are just some ideas of how to eat the right way:

    -no sugar or any sugary foods

    -no fried foods

    -no alcohol

    -no read meat

    -no soft drinks

    -lots of vegetables

    -lots of fruits as bananas, water melon, oranges, apples, grapes...

    -whole grains

    -whole wheat bread

    -skin milk, cheese and yogurt

    -white meat as fish and chicken

    -lots of water ( 2 l a day)

    -green tea

    -natural fruit juices (home made)

    -raisins

    -oat


  2. daily cardio will definitely help. Just keep up with it, and add in some weight training.
