  1. thats a endurance thing, run 5 miles a day. when you get use to it, do the 2 miles, pick up the pace, just like working out,

  2. Try running intervals.  Figure out your goal time, divide by 8; that's your goal lap time.  Now, run a lap that fast, then walk (or jog) for half a lap, then run a lap, then walk.  That'll help to get your body used to that pace.  Gradually increase the distance you run between rests.

Alternate that with long-distance work.  Run 3 miles; run 4.  The longer distance your body is used to, the easier 2 will be to push out.

  3. Not THAT difficult, I could probably do it but I don't run track.

Run 2 miles 2 times per day and time it.

  4. thats easy. run FAST.

thats only a 7 minute mile.....

  5. getting under 14 miutes is easy. this is what u need to do

on monday do a hard workout that has a high volume and high intensity. then on tuesday go for a recovery run like run for 45 minutes but run slow during that time because that run is letting your body repair after the hard workout. on wendsday do another hard workout. on thursday do a recovery run. then on friday another hard workout. then on saturday run 60 to 70 minutes and run thats only a little faster than your recovery run. and then on sunday take the whole day off. another thing is during your training try to eat healthy because what u eat effects how u run.then it depends how far u are from 14 minutes but if your at 15 minutes and u want 14 minutes that workout i just said would only take a month of training if not sooner.

  6. keep on trying u can do it! i ran under 10 min. in 2 mi.  and yes u can do it!

  7. Stretch and run but pace yourself till the last quart of the mile than sprint. Never walk you'll just get more tired.

  8. first of all u need to eat healthy and exercise quite a bit. run about 5-10 miles a day. maybe even more if u think its neccesary.  once your muscles get used to it go down in the amount of miles u run but be sure to increase your pace. eventually go down to 2 miles and increase your pace even further. trust me i can run a 4:55 mile and a 10:34 2 mile.  This may take a while but i did it. GOOD LUCK.
