How to get your PS2 to let me play japanese games?

i want to buy a japanese bleach blade battlers 2 and i dunno if my ps2 plays j*p games....how can i tell without buying it and finding out......and where can i get modifications to let it play them

    my friend had a japanese wii ramote but sice my wii was english

    it wouldn't take in his remote. lol it's kinda funny but it's the truth!

  4. You need an NTSC-J compatable playstation (aka - one imported from Japan.) They will not work on U.S. made systems. Modding is not an option. They reason for different regions is because each region uses different frequencies and waves. So, you would basically have to built one from the ground up. It's not something a simple chip can fix.
