How to get your hair staight but not frizzy?

i have previously had my hair permed but now when i straighten my hair it is all frizzy and does not like right. any ideas on what i can try?

you can purchase a frizz free gel or lotion

apply it with hand strokes on the hair once straightned

try spraying it with some serum/spray to protect your hair from the straitener.  try tressemme products.

also after you straighten it use vo5.  omg it works wanders for frizzy hair.  dont use too much though or your hair will get all greasy.

1. use a straightening balm or mousse

2.. Blow dry your hair with a round brush to straight them

3. Use a heat protector with your straightener (ceramic, silver nanos, titanium nanos)

4. use a finishing balm, pommade or oil in little quantity to control last frizz :)

Decent straighteners - GHD is better. And a good straightening product (cream/serum)

shower the night before so you don't have to blowdry it (this will also cut some of the volume down though) and then straighten it

or shower, blowdry with product (like serum) and then straighten.

i'd say use GHD stylers because they are the best straightners. you could try the GHDs for afro hair, my friend uses them n her hair is naturally curly but looks naturally straight with those straightners.

if you get a serum use charles worthington or john frieda. you could try shampoos aswell- aussie maybe.

I know everyone saying hair straighteners and syrum however using the heated ceramic straighteners will weaken the hair.  You are going to have  to have your cut/trimmed.  If you were to have your hair chemically straightened it would no doubt 'snap off'.  The other thing to think about is, to buy a hair piece (not a full wig lol) but a piece that clips in (really easy too with the pony tails, you just slick gel onto your hair and brush into a pony tail and clip on) or if you have the cash you could have your hair professionally weaved/extensions.  Good luck hon x
