  1. i don't know if you like running, but go running. grab the ipod and go. push yourself farther than you thought you could, you'll be more focused on how you feel and getting through it.

    when your done you feel accomplished with yourself, and you give yourself a purpose to invest in yourself rather than stressing about everything else that's beeting you in.

    yoga helps to.

    and at the same time, you will feel great about your body.

    exercise releases certain chemical's in your brain to help alleviate stress. it will help you to better deal with all that is making your life stressful.

    reading helps too!

    and idk if you're a christian, but God can help a lot!! you can just give it to him and pray, and it's a huge burden lifted off your shoulders!!

    he will never let you down, as much as supposed 'christains' do, they are not perfect, but he is. Jesus is the answer for a more joy filled life. i apologize for all the dissappoints you may have faced concerning God and people. As humans, we suck, point blank. You will never be able to find joy like you can in Jesus.

  2. you have to train yourself not to think about bad thoughts, everytime you get a bad thought, come up with a mantra to say to yourself...like" Thats not positive"  "I'm in control"   I know it sounds weird but if you stick to it is helps.

    Also something my therapist told me to do (I was a compulsive worrier) set aside a certain time each day and sit in the same place each day. This time is set aside for you to worry. Ok, so I thought this was totally stupid then, but I did it. Sitting there I thought well this is just pointless for me to sit here. I solved my problem because worrying was stupid too.  

  3.   Go ahead and think about bad things during the daytime. At night, and this I trained myself to do, close your eyes and count how many seconds you can go with a blank mind. As soon as a thought about a problem comes up, start over and begin counting 1, 2, 3 again as long as your mind is blank. See how far you can count without having a thought and with practice you'll fall asleep. l mg of melatonin works wonders too.
