How to get your music on your lg scoop phone by using the usb cord??

Alright here is the problem i bought a usb cable off of ebay. and i try'ed it out and when i plug it in and it will say(found new hardware).I do every step i should then when i get to the last part it says(can not install this hardware).I know how to your own ringtones and i know websites so please dont write anything about that!

You need to set the phone into its USB flash drive mode.  Then connect it

to the computer.  When you click on "My Computer" you will see the phone listed as one of the removable drives on the system.

If you don't set the phone to flash drive mode, the computer will see the CDMA (cell network data) modem and attempt to install software for that.  Maybe that's what you did??  Use device manager to see if you suddenly have a COM 5 port.  No harm if you do, tho.

Once you have the phone connected as a flash drive, you should be able to drag and drop your songs onto the phone.  Look for a folder called songs, music, or media.  This will take some experimentation to figure out where to drop the songs.
