  1. she will do it by herself, if her eyes keep closing, then she is sleepy, but if you are near her she will stay alert and active.

  2. LOL cover the cage anytime you want the bird to sleep .

  3. You cant make it if it is tired it will do it by its self......

  4. Wear it out!  I know that sounds funny, but that's the easiest (and, I think, funnest) way.  Play ladder with you fingers, kiss and whistle at it, give it treats, or my birds even like playing tug of war with my braided and knotted jewlery.  If you don't have that kind of time, simply put a cockatiel on it's cage and it'll quiet up real quick.  Just be sure to take the towel off as soon as it is ready for it to get up.  Otherwise, he will get used to the towel and start yelling again.

  5. There is no way to make it go to sleep Simply turn out the lights in the room and it will quiet down 99% of the time. Mine don't care though, they whistle all through the night dark or not LOL!

  6. Throw a sheet or thin blanket over the cage to make it dark then it will go to sleep.

  7. put a thick blanket over it so it thinks that it is dark. and it is dark.

  8. Cover the cage up so it's dark this will help for keeping them calm and want to sleep. Good Luck

  9. you could entertain it - sing a song to it, play with it, or you could cover the cage with a blankie
