  1.   I manage a property where next door to us is a wooded area and pest control told me believe it or not to place moth balls on the grass and around/under bushes, shrubs, etc...basically around the house-- they do not like the smell of the moth balls and go away!! hope this helps!

  2. snakes keep rodents away.  why would you want to get rid of them?

  3. Get a cat or a dog (probably a cat, as they're better predators and can slip into the small bushes that snakes hide in). They love to chase snakes.

The dog or cat probably won't kill all of the snakes, but pretty soon they'll realize your garden is dangerous and they'll leave.

I used to catch garter snakes next door with a friend of mine when I was a lot younger. We never killed them, but each year there were fewer snakes. Eventually they all left the area.

  4. I hate snakes; but someone told me moth balls but I not sure if they will hurt other animals.

  5. People here say if you have a cat they will keep snakes away.  If there isn't food, they will leave also.  Many snakes eat mice.  Which would you rather have?

  6. There is a product called snake away.

I found it on this site.

  7. You obviously have a pest problem. Get rid of the snakes, you will only have more pests. The snakes are harmless to you and your family, but the pests they eat might not be.
