How to give a lecture....!!??

I wanna know some things and tricks that is omportant in giving a lecture!for example:eye contact giving it by heart...!tell me more!

some ideas -

be prepared & fully conversant with your topic

engage your students by making the lecture interesting.

no need to give it 'by heart' - you can carry some notes / points to keep you on track.

intersperse your talk with questions & examples

make it easy thru' use of simple flow charts / lists / diagrammatic representations....

list out important / key words on the board as you talk about them & recap at end.

bring in some humour

read "the last lecture" by randy pausch -- you'll get many little tips & perspectives there .
