How to give back, help others, want to do good things in the world, volunteer, donate, etc. plz give me ideas.

hello, i'm a teenager and i'd like to find better ways to occupy my time and make the world a better place and help those who are less fortunate than myself. i volunteer at a soup kitchen every once in a while, but i know that i can do more.

can you give me some ideas?

Everyone has pretty much given you the right sources. I just wanted to ad that if every teenager out there had the same attitude you did, there wouldn't be such a wide range of gang related crimes and disrespecting delinquents who think they know everything!  Good for you hun, keep it up.

First decide what you are passionate about.  Do you enjoy working with the elderly?  Do you enjoy working with children?  The homeless and or needy?  The type of volunteer work you do should reflect who you are as a person so you really do enjoy it.  Perhaps you are passionate about Cancer research.  The possibilities really are endless.  Decide what you would like to pursue and then do a little research, ask your  parents for help and get going!  I really do admire you for your enthusiasm here.  Its good to know there are some teens who care about things other than designer labels and s*x.
