  1. If it's tips - yes, as someone has already mentioned this is included in the restaurant bill. We tend to leave a couple of Euros.

If it's chips (Frites), for some reason when I was in the Sarthe region to the west of Paris (Le Mans) there were plenty of small cafés serving them.

You'll find Frites mostly in the north of France from Normandie to Pas de Calais/Nord regions near the border with Belgium. Over in Belgium the national dish is "moules-frites" (chips served with mussels).

  2. I'm not sure what you mean... my GUESS is that you're asking where to find good fries (as they're called here in the States), known as chips in Britain. And the answer is: pretty much everywhere; they're not hard to find. However if that's not what you meant, perhaps you could clarify your question?

  3. are you talking about Tips ?

if is your question, service and taxes are included in the price you pay (on the bill I mean) bu in restaurant if ths service was pretty good, if you had a good time... it is really appreciated when people tip. there is no right amount, generally between 2 and 5 euros for regular restaurant and no limit for the high standard ones.
