Oh and I forgot, after rereading my last entry you might relate the info on my giving my dad insulin shots to the rest.  not the case.  I had gave my dad his daily shots until I was 20 yrs old and joined the us navy. retired now for 10 years, I only discover that a local farm supply store will sell you antibiotics after my lab dog got his foot infected and the vets would only treat him by appointment only and a neighbor/farmer loaned me his drug kit and instructions he uses for his various farm animals according to animal species, weight and suspected infection, injury, alilment type.  He got the kit from a local farm supply place.  It has drugs that can be kept for up to 2 yrs if refrigerated, and cost about $58. I gave my dog injection of antibotics (i don't remember the name) in the leg near infection, and he started getting better in 2 days.

The will usually have all kinds of animal medicines and shringes, with instructions on injection location and how much to give depending of animal weight and type of animal, weither animal is swine, bovine, canine, feline, or other.  And its a lot cheaper then a vet.  But don't ask them about using it on you dog, they are legally gagged from discusing such use.  My neighbor got his antibotics for strip throat from rural king for $6. The names are different for the same drug depending whether its destined for animals, pets, or humans, to make it misleading, and ensure more money for college educated idiots.
