Get a tube of Silicone... glass should be listed on the label.

depending on what it is there are a number of glues you could use. Loctite make a version of super glue for glass that cures by ultra violet light.

Any other cyanoacrylate glue should do the job.

2 pack epoxy resin such as araldite does a good job if there is a bit of a gap to fill as well.

Or you could use silicone sealant the stuff sold for making and repairing aquariums is rather expensive. But dow corning do a high modulas silicone sealant  for water tanks that is suitable for use with drinking water, only snag is it is white not translucent like the aquarium sealer.

Do not use low modulas bathroom sealant in a fish tank as a) it isn't strong enough and b) most have a fungicide in them which is poisonous to the fish
