i dont know exact details of direct service....

but u wl get frequent bus service from coimbatore to kodai....

so better u go to coimbatore(it wl takes around 4 hrs from otty)..

kodaikanal-palani-coimbatore-ooty..this is the best route to ooty form kodaikanal..direct bus is available to coimbatore,yet i dont know about direct service to ooty..i suggest u to go to coimbatore and then to ooty,so that you will get a pass in your travelling..a numerous of buses are there from cbe to ooty..
