How to go about buying a pistol in Melbourne?

does anyone know where abouts in Melbourne i could pick up a pistol and how id go about getting one?

first up you have to join a pistol club.

then wait the probation and apply for a licence 6months i think

wait for the  cooling off time of 28 days  then have your licences approved

then apply for a pta(permit to acquire ) wait 28 days  for the approval

then go to the local gun shop and buy  hand gun

you will need to be a licenced pistol shooter and a member of a club.
