How to go from a div 3 college to a div 1 for football?

i am gonna play for a div 3 school next year how can i go to a div 1 school

I don't wanna get your hopes down but that's VERY hard to do so. I've seen D-2 go to D-1 IF their very good. But all I can tell you to do is work, be the best player out of everyone! And talk to some scouts.
