How to go up on one wheel on my bike.??

Question

How come whenever i try to do that (i think its called a cat walk) i can only get my wheel like 6inches off the ground!! :|

Are there any tricks to help me get my wheel higher??

To start with that is actually called a wheelie! I've no idea where you got cat walk from! Its easy once you get the hang of it! Start By getting into your lowest gear possible then push one of your pedals down and pull up hard. The main thing is to keep pedaling and hold the bike up. It takes loads of practice so don't give up!
