how can you push thoughts aside and just go with the flow?

  1. You cant really go with the flow, if your in a situation where u are unable to be yourself!!!!!. Always be yourself no matter what, if your not comfortable then you shouldn't be there no matter what plp say party boo-per blah blah blah. Somethings are just not for everyone.

  5. Use a mantra.  Tell yourself something like " This type of thinking keeps me stuck."  or   "This serves no purpose."  It's a great way to retrain yourself when your thinking is off.

  8. learn the lyrics to a song. The song has to be one that is normally so fast that you can't hear what the singer is saying. Think of the song in your head whenever those thoughts enter your head.

  10. You have to be perfectly secure with yourself and not care at all what people think about you, if your sitting there paranoid about what people are saying or thinking about you then you really can't just go with the flow.

    Also, you need to learn how to keep conversations upbeat and interesting.
