I did an experiment, coulomb's law. I need to make a 1/r^2 vs F graph. (r being the displacement reaction and F being the electrostatic force). my points are (1100, 0.00639), (2500, 0.00106), (10000, 0.00149). x values are 1/r^2 and y values are F. I cant graph as the computer says the range is "too complicated" Help!

  1. Try multiplying your real numbers by 10^6 (i.e. scaling them) and then plotting them. For example, your first coordinate pair would be (1100, 6390). Those will graph nicely in Excel then copy the graph to Word.

By the way, you should be using a scatter (or X-Y) graph for this case. That may be the source of your error message.
