So I have this friend that keeps taking guys from me. when in a social situation, I will have someone I am interested in he will be all over my interest like a wet rag, to the point where last time I couldnt even ask them out. he has stolen 2 guys away from me. I am getting tired of his dominance games. He is married to another man but in an open relationship. I cant tell him anything to his face or he will explode at me or over react or turn it around on me. We are forced to live in close proximity to eachother but at this point I dont want to be his friend or be around him for his sheer lack of respect for me. Even 2 mutual friends of ours, that he respects (supposedly) have asked him to back off so I can have a chance with a new certain someone new but low and behold, he was all over the guy and even took a shower with him. How can I get this old ex good friend of mine to f-off in this delicate situation? the s*****k is 31 (married and polyamourous) and I am 25, single and lonely.

  1. Stop hanging out with him.  If you live close and are together all the time, start going out by yourself of with another friend.  Or meet guys online and don't tell him about them.  Make plans so you're not going to be in a social situation where he's there.

He's already married, so it's not like you're his only friend.  Sounds like your only choice is to ditch him in social situations.

  2. Have you thought that your friend might like your type so much he wants you so pursue him and he will back off.If not try asking out his partner so he can know how it feels

  3. I think it's time to stop looking for guys when that friend is around. Poly doesn't give him a license to cheat and pick up random guys all of the time. He should be your wingman, but clearly he doesn't know how.

  4. Move in a different circle of friends. Find a huge guy to beat the sh** out of him. LOL sorry but you have a a big problem.
