  1. Kill them with kindness.  It makes them look and feel stupid!

  2. By remaining calm and listening to them. Try to understand what they are ranting about and offer a solution.

  3. so easy!

tell them to get lost .

  4. Be kind, to the point, and professional. Remember to not get defensive or imply that something is their fault (even if it is); it will just fuel their anger.

Let them rant a little bit. Sometimes people just want to get their frustration out and then they're fine.

Ask them, "what can I do to make everything better for you?" Often they don't even know what they want, but once they give you some sort of answer then you have a place to start negotiating.

Here's how I cope mentally with people like this: I figure that since this person yelled (screamed) at me, they might not go home and beat their wife or kick their dog. You know what I mean, their anger is already dissipated by yelling at me. I feel like, okay, if I had to take it, someone else who they might hurt worse, won't have to.

It might sound stupid, but it works for me.

  5. Offer them some free gifts or cash vouchers . It always work !

  6. give her an extra donnut.

  7. if he or she is too much and u cant handle it, get someone to handle it, many hands make light work, dont get emotionally involved and be too upset.

of course the customer should be treated nicely

  8. Take the high road in addition to being respectful!  In the end they will feel foolish!  There is a certain line that a patron might cross - then be yourself in the way you handle it!

  9. To listen and be patient with them as long as they are not belligerent. and too treat them like we're glad that they are a customer, then thank them for their advice.

I know this is hard but I've worked in places where I didn't think they had a leg to stand on but upon getting the boss or manager to deal with them they usually ruled in favor of the unhappy customer, regardless of what I thought.

  10. Be stern and get ur point across. If they want to make a scene, just let them...other people will see that it is their fault and not yours, so you won't lose any business.

If all else fails and they are being completly ridiculously angry, then tell them to leave or call security, if need be!

  11. Let them vent for a minute, then solve their problems. It sounds like you have a customer service problem that needs addressing in your company. Fix the problem these customers are upset about in the best way that is cost effective to your company and your customers. They should stop being angry then. Hope this helps!!!

  12. keep your smile. and be very polite. let them finish what they want to say.

if u are extremely polite, most people will soften down.
