  1. dont worry mi amigo..

they'll only tear if you actually TRY to tear them, so dont.

just put them in your eyes, as your doctor explained, and take them out only to put them in thier case with the proper liquid.

make sure that in the mornings when u r tired, u dont put both contacts, in the same eye, lol, ive done that a couplea times

and then you can t see from either eye so u try to take something out of the empty eye, but there is really nothing there... lol

    but chilax man

  2. Ve VERY gentle, because they rip very easily. It is easy to see when they do, though. The best way to rinse them is to just set it in the palm of your hand, squirt solution on it and with the pad of your finger, move it around in a circular motion. Thats what i always do and i usually dont rip them.

  3. Just keep them sitting on the top of your finger with the concave side up. Then do the rinsing very slowly.

  4. okay i wear contacts so when u take them out of the package make sure that the contact has no tears in it [hold contact with index finger] then with one hand pull ur eyelid open [do the same for the bottom lid] and make sure the contact is like a half sphere it must be round! then slowly put it in ur eye. then b4 u go to bed put some fluid [such as opti free] in ur case. then get ur fingure wet with some fluid and use ur index to slide the contact over to the corner of your eye and gently pinch and remove it then put it the according holder. R is for right. then let it sit over night. do not shower with them in do not swim with them in oh and try to carry a case and fluid around with you incase something happens

    there you go!

  5. I don't think they tear too easily. Just make sure that you keep your nails trimmed and your hands clean. You don't need to dry your hands after you wash them, just wash your hands and put in your contacts. You don't really need to rinse contacts unless you've accidently dropped them.

When you do rinse them, though, make sure that you rinse them thoroughly and don't let them go down the sink!

For me, it's easier to stand up when putting them in, and I always take a shower or do some activity before I put them in so that I'm more awake, thus my eyes are opened wider and it's easier to put them in.

Oh, and you can take them in the shower or the pool, but I don't recommend wearing them in the pool unless they're really old. Do change them whenever you can. If they're meant to last for one month, only wear them for one month.  The contacts slowly start to decompose and don't allow oxygen to reach your eyes. As a result, your eyesight gets worse and you can even go blind. So, take out your contacts before you go to bed and change them periodically.

  6. Make sure your nails aren't too long or sharp.

I've torn tons of contacts because my nails were too long and i couldn't get it out the case with my finger tips.

They do tear easily with nails... trust me. =]

If you use your finger tips they're pretty strong though.

  7. shuve a contact up your nose and  thenn...ehh

doctors offfice for u young 1

  8. When you rinse them, place them in your open palm. If you have to rub them, do it in your palm as well. They should stick to your hand and you won't have any problem with tearing them.

  9. they suck dont use them just get a good pair of glasses

  10. yeah its kinda easy to see if you tear them

and handle them gently and be patient :)

  11. You handle contacts like you do a rose petal.

Yes, they can tear, but just be gentle. Remember, use a wash with disinfectant.  :)

  12. hey man watsup...

yeah ur right to paranoid cuz if u dont put them in the right way they can be very painfull

anyways when u ut them in your eyes make sure you pick them up by placing ur finger on the concave side and it should stick.

then place them in your eyes. make sure you dont sleep with them in other wise u'll have very sore eyes. its very easy to spot a tear in contacts so dont be to woried. make sure they dont dry out by placing them back in the case. when u clean them u just put them into the water case given to u (the one with the 2 circles). that has special cleaning liquid(which is very easy to make when u run out). this will also stop them from drying out.

  13. Yes, tears can be seen. Set the lens in your palm and clean it with a stream of your rinsing solution. Then rub your finger on it gently. Hold it up to the light to make sure there are no hairs or anything on it, then put it in the storage case.

  14. dont worry they are actually quite strong, just dont let the m dry out, and avoid ripping them with your nails and you'll be just fine.

  15. Hi dbu_44240,

You will be fine, just like when learning to riding a bike, difficult at first and in no time you don't even think about it. The most important thing is to make sure your hands are clean when handling your contact lenses. I saw a series of the great videos on how to choose, insert, remove and clean contact lenses. Here is the link http://www.bifocal-contact-lens-info.com... The videos are about half way down the page highlighted in yellow.

    Good luck.

  16. don't hold them while you are rinsing, they will go down the drain.

put them in the palm of your hand, use another finger to pick them up (they will stick to your finger) plop them in, also when rinsing use the contact lense cleaner solution and container.

  17. You will see it if you tear it.  They are a lot tougher then you think so don't worry about it!

  18. you can use the tip of your index finger it works just fine, make sure your finger is clean and dry.  My wife was a dispensing optician, she showed me.  Usually you can just leave them in the cleaner container that two circular thing.  Works great.

  19. No, as long as you are gentle with them they will be fine. When you clean them, put them in the palm of your hand and squirt out some solution on them. Rub VERY gently because i tore my right lens once and it was irritant for a few days before i got use to it. Otherwise, it takes 1-2 days to get the hang of putting it in and taking them out. Simple.
