How to handle my Daughter

Question

My daughter is having problems.

Here is what is going on.

1. She Swears to her teachers.

2. She bothers my son.. spilling soda on his hair when he just took a shower.. and more

3. She never listens to me.

4. She goes out with someone who is 16 years old when shes 13

5. She does anywhere without telling or asking..

She is having big problems what should i do?

I have ground her. Spank her. Nothing works. She says

HAHA yea that didnt hurt. Well we will see.

It sounds to me like typical teen behaviour. She doesn't understand what's going on with her and can talk to you because she doesn't know herself. I put my 13 yr old into counselling when I was experiencing similar behaviours. Things are turning around slowly. There is hope!!!

Spanking? What you expect to accomplish by THAT I don't know. Obviously it doesn't work, so don't keep trying it.

You might consider getting her into therapy.

Have you tried to talk to her, that is, in such a way as you're not the main one doing all the talking, but actually LISTENING to what she has to say? That's your best bet for working things out.

people like this don't really need beating. since u've beaten her and she wouldn't listen, u might just need more of ur love, attention and care. Speak well to jer and say good things to her. Most times, words cure rather than spanking. Sweet words do well like medicine and mind the way u speak to her. Don't render ur words as bullets but as seeds  which would take root in her and grow. Bullet words kill inspirations and motivations in the lives of anybody they r spoken to. Do this and see how it works, though it may take time. She needs her DAD to spank her and MAKE it hurt.

Send her to live with her dad.You have let her go too long .She will be pregnant before she is 16 if you do not.

The last kid who told me "ha that didnt hurt" i said"well, Let's see if we can't fix that!"

He was crying when I got done.You know what, he respected me afterwards andnever tried to run my little neices and nephews over with his bike anymore after that.

tough love.  this was the hardest thing for me to do.  i sent my daughter to a juvinile detention center for 30 days and then i sent her to a 15 month program called teen challenge they have a girls only one for age 13-17 in alabama and Mass i think.  works great.  you have your hands full and pls know you are doing a great job

Spank her harder! Use a hairbrush or wooden spoon on her bare butt, see if she laughs then!

You know what i would do with her, I would number 1, tell her that you want to have a private talk with her in her room, Tell her this grab her hand, and tell her that you are her friend her only friend, and start out that you care and that ovoiously she has problems, and to please talk promblems out right here and right now,  IF SHE DOESNT TALK TO YOU PRIVATLY, THEN TELL HER IF YOU DONT LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVED TO SAY, THEN YOU ARE GOING TO LISTEN TO THIS, THIS IS MY RULES, I HAVE A LIST OF RULES I WAQNT YOU TO FOLLOW IN ONE WEEK, AND IF YOU DONT FOLLOW THEM, THEN GET THE h**l OUT, THEN GIVE HER A NUMBER FOR TROUBLED TEENS ABUSIVE AND RUNAWAY HOTLINES, GIVE HER THE NUMBER, AND SLOWELY GO OUT OF THE ROOM, THEN WAIT SEE WHAT SHE DOES?? MEANWHILE CONTACT THE TEENAGE RUNAWAYS NEAREST YOU AND SALVATION ARMY AND THE BUS COMPANY AND TRAIN, TO CALL YOU IMMEDIATLY IF ANY BODY SEES HER, AND IF THAT DONT WORK TELL HER THIS
