How to hang DVD player and cable box?

we have our flat screen on the wall but where should we put the cable box and dvd player...it makes no sense to save space by putting the tv on the wall but still have to have the other things on the stand underneath. Do they make a wall shelf that is deep enough to hold these things? We also need them up so our 14 month old son stops turning the tv off on us

IKEA has some shelves for that purpose.

Also, you can just mount the shelves to the sides.

One other thingis put wires behind wall so they cannot be pulled out.
