How to have fun in upper east side in NYC?

Question

okay this summer im going to be going to New York alot for my moms job. were going to be moving to the upper east side of NYC in a year or two.

what should i do while im visting there? Im thinking so far:

shop

central park

walk around

but idk what else.

ps.This is NOT the first time i have been to NYC.

I live there now and there's lots of fun stuff to do in the UES despite the amount of old money inhabitants. 1st, 2nd, 3rd aves all have a lot of bars that stay open unit 4am and usually have a pretty good crowd. If you're not of age (can't tell by your question) then you can still get into all the UES bars because they tend to be more lax up here compared to downtown.

And also of course there's the best shopping ever on Madison Ave. and you're pretty close to the good shopping on 5th ave (between 59th and 42nd) so there's always that.

And Central Park is always great. I run there every morning. Make sure you do all the stuff that most people miss in Central Park like the world's fastest merry-go-round, Belvedere Castle, The reservoir, The ramble, etc...
