  1. I'm an Atheist. Although our beliefs differ from each other I understand what you are going through. I struggled for many years with what you are struggling with now. When you find inner peace in your beliefs, you will find that you do not feel threatened by anybody else's thoughts or beliefs, nor their views on your beliefs anymore. You accept that you are different from them and they from you. You will not feel any pride or sorrow over that fact. You'll eventaully find others who share your beliefs and will learn to converse with them and in turn will learn to converse with others with differents beliefs. You just have accept that you have earned your right to believe in what you believe in whether it coincides or differs from your peers beliefs. You do this by simply accepting who you are and what your fundamental beliefs are deep down inside your heart.

  2. I believe the only way to have inner peace is to take the time, energy and effort into digging deep on the inside to figure out who you are and what makes you happy.

We live in this world that we base our happiness on others in our life, if they are mad at us, we are upset and sad, if they are happy, we are happy. NO.  We have to find our own happiness. We were all born with it on the inside, but through time, and negativity it gets pushed down and covered by meaningless outside forces.  Clean it out, make that happiness shine, and wake up each day with a new attitude and love of life like never before.  This has nothing to do with anyone's current situation, what job you have, what spouse, what family, or even what you do NOT have.  It is being appreciative and grateful for all that you do have.

    Thanks for reading!

  3. I totally agree with you.  I believe in god and if you make bad mistakes, you are not a bad person.  Remember the we have freedom of religion in this country.  You should believe what you want to believe.  That is what the USA is all about.

  4. The Bible does NOT teach that "you go to h**l if you are bad"!!!!!

And TRUST ME!  Most of the nation does NOT believe that!!!  (And those who do need to re-read their Bible!)

What it DOES teach is that God wants a loving relationship with every one of us.  Because we are sinners (we sin because we are sinners, not the other way around), which simply means that we "miss the mark" when it comes to what God wants and needs for us, we need a way to bridge the chasm between us and God created by our sin.  Jesus created that bridge for paying the price (death) for our sins, totally erasing our debt before God.  We only have to accept his substitutionary sacrifice for our sins.  Heaven is NOT gained by good deeds, and h**l is NOT gained by bad deeds.  God designed it that way, so that no one could boast that they got into heaven on their good deeds.   h**l is a choice YOU make.  A choice to NOT be in relationship with your Creator.  h**l is being totally and eternally outside of God's presence, with every trace of God's goodness gone from you and everyone else there.  It's horrible, but not because God made it so.  It's horrible because the people there make it so.  Pretty much self-inflicted torment.

Your picture of who God is is very important!  Please don't think that just because you "do bad things" you cannot go to heaven!  We ALL "do bad things".  It is the way we are.  But God is also not a divine rapist, He will not force us to love Him or be in relationship with Him.  This is where your choices come in

Read Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis.  Also look for books by Josh McDowell.  They will give you a more accurate picture of what Christianity is and is not.

  5. I find my inner peace with God. I believe in heaven and h**l. Because the bible tells us that h**l does exist. God also tells us how we can not go there. read the bible then you will know.

  6. I live in America and believe in God but won't condemn you to h**l. I believe that "I am no better man to judge you than you to judge me" a quote by me that i try and live by. if we all could just help each other believe in each other it would be alot better place. you should try and do the right thing in your life and let those people judge all they want. you will know who you are and thats what matters.4;20 out

  7. Gods are overrated. Just believe and accept in whatever you want and you'll do fine.

  8. Maybe if you don't worry about everyone else, then you won't have that sort of conflict.  America is a big place, with room enough for everyones beliefs.  My goal is to just be the best person I can be, follow my beliefs and let others follow theirs.  You don't have to accept their beliefs, just as they don't have to accept yours.  Knowing this make it easier for me because I no longer have that conflict.
