How to have two phones with one line and only one wall jack?

Question

We wanted to add another home phone in another room upstairs. However that room don't have a phone jack. There is only a phone jack in one of the bedrooms and it already has a phone hooked up to it. How could we go about hooking another phone up? We don't want to add another line nor jack. We was told there is some type of spacer things you can buy but not sure what they are called or how to hook those up. Any help would be great. Thanks!

get a set of cordless phones with some models you can have up to 4 i have 3 right now and you can just buy more as you need it up to   4-5 deepens on the brand

Buy a cordless phone base that can have multiple cordless phones. Only the base needs to be hooked up to a phone jack. The rest of the cordless phones have chargers that can go in other rooms which only need to be  plugged in to an outlet.

Go buy another phone jack and some telephone wire.  Find a place to run the line from one box to another.  Match the color coded wires and check it for operation.  Or, find a place where both lines end up and match the colors.
