I just got a bowl of porridge out of the microwave and it was boiling hot. Now I've got a burn on my right thumb and it hurts! I have 2 type with 1 hand. Any quick way to heal it?

  1. Keep it under cold water for at least 10 minutes. Then, cover wound using a clean pad or cling film to prevent infection. If you have any bracelets or jewellery, it's best to remove them as they can irritate the burn. Burn cream is also very good to use, and you could put it on skin before wrapping. Hope this helps :D :D :D

  2. run it under cold water

put some aloe lotion on it

and suck it up for a day or two

  3. dont put ice directly to the burn.. its not ok to do so.

anyway, hmm get a piece of cloth soak it in cold/ice water and rest your thumb on it.

then if you have cooling ointment put a bit of that,if not the cold cloth on the burn is good enough.

  4. alovera

  5. Run it under cold water and try an forget about it, it'l stop hurting really quickly its only a minor burn.

  6. mineral Ice

  7. Quick! Hold it under cold running water for 10 minutes at least. This is the recommended way to stop burns going deeper

  8. put toothpaste on it,

    and/or rub it with a patatoe .

  9. to leave it alone

  10. ur suppose to run it under cold water for 20mins straight.. and u can buy burn cream at the chemist..

  11. burn ointment

  12. Run it under cold water

  13. Get A Tomatoe And Cut it in half then stick your thumb in it for about 10 mins no bullshit man Its An OLDSKOOL remedy Passed on from my Granpa!!!! TrY IT it should do it!!!!

  14. put some toothpast on it

  15. put some ice on it for a while and it should stop hurting

  16. i quicly put honey on it ... very effective

  17. Ice it, soak it in salt water, dress it with clean dressings a few times a day, depending on how bad it is, and apply some sort of anti-ceptic cream if poss, although if its really bad, go see a doctor!

  18. just keep it cool, i burnt myself yesterday, it will go in a day or two.

  19. Ice that bizznatch and when it bubbles up....drain the water outta it.

  20. alovera is great for burns try that out

  21. any cream can help and cold water now and then :)

  22. put something cold on it right away. like ice

  23. Hopefully you put it under a running tap when it happened? Just leave it alone now to heal. It's only superficial probably, so will do better by not putting anything on it. If it does blister, do not pop it, you'll increase the chances of getting it infected if you do and then you'll be stuck with it even longer!

  24. Run it under the cold tap, until the sting goes away. But you might be there a bit :). Get some burn cream too cool it down.

Other than that i can't think of any other way to heal it. But the cream and water idea should ease the pain of it.

    Hope i Helped :)

  25. put some mustard on it i know this because i work at a fast food resturaunt and that what we do when we get burned
