How to hear our voice while recording in our headset?

Question

I wanted to know how can we hear our voice while we're recording (like singing) in our headset. It happens that I knew this when I was recording a song for my own school, I cant ask the teachers since I graduated from that school a few weeks ago.

I also don't want to stop the record then listen to my own voice, Im not used to it. So please bear with that.

I won't be possible with a standard voice recorder. Get a professional music recorder.
